Position Overview
The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in managing the
financial health of our rapidly expanding global organization. This role
involves overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with
complex regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The VP of
Finance will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement
financial strategies that support the company's growth and operational
efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership: Serve as a financial
advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing insights and
recommendations for strategic planning.

Financial Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of
accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
payroll, and tax preparation, ensuring compliance with laws in various
states and countries.

Accounts Receivable: We have a complicated accounts
receivable organization because it is critical to make it as easy as
possible for our diverse customer base to pay us, whether they are from an
academic institution or company. Each can pay with purchase orders, credit
cards, payment links, and Dinocoins. It is your job to implement systems
that are scalable and maintainable, while remaining customer-focused.

Cash Flow Management: Develop and implement methods for
tracking revenue and expenses, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate
financial reporting and optimal cash flow.

Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all tax laws
and financial regulations across multiple states and countries.

Process Improvement: Audit and refine financial processes
to increase efficiency and accuracy across teams.

Financial Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate financial
information to government regulators and external entities as required.

Transactional Oversight: Monitor and audit transactions,
investments, and business deals, ensuring regular review of expenditures,
assets, and liabilities.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a
related field.

5-10 years of hands-on experience in finance, including leadership roles.
- Preferred certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities, including the ability to
demonstrate clarity of thought.
- Ability to dive into details and tackle complex problems directly.
Day-to-Day Duties

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and forecasts.
- Implement accounting and billing systems, and manage AR/AP cycles.
- Conduct regular audits and prepare detailed financial reports.

Ensure accurate financial reporting to various internal and external
stakeholders.
