Our mission is to accelerate science with the best sequencing.

Our logo is designed to be clean and recognizable and bears the iconic pixel dino mark. The base for the wordmark is the typeface Eurostile, which has then been modified slightly to achieve a distinctive look. Logos can be found here.

Our color palette is calming and fresh, inviting users to take a time out from their hectic day and spend time in our serene atmosphere.

These are the colors that are core to the Plasmidsaurus brand and are most frequently used.

This is the full color palette, and can be used across brand and product. 

Pantone Color Matching

Pantone colors are used to ensure consistency across different materials and devices. These are the closest Pantone matches for our primary greens and beige and are mainly used for print purposes.

Our main typeface is Rubik - friendly, to the point, and easy to read. Inconsolata is our secondary typeface - used in a supporting capacity to create visual interest as well as for data visualization. *The typestyles below are a screenshot and therefore do no reflect the actual scale of the text. Please refer to the type size and line spacing requirements for actual size. 

We have a couple different types of icons that are explained below. 

The Plasmidsaurus brand illustration style aims to bring levity, joy, and connection to our audience. We love representing our information in a way that is engaging, memorable, and sets us apart from our competition. Our style is slightly sketchy and hand-drawn, and aims to reflect back a more consistent version of our customer art that is a such a hallmark of the Plasmidsaurus brand. Our illustrations provide utility by visually representing a lot of our written concepts, instead of being purely decorative. Our illustration library can be found here.

Illustrations are generally drawn on Procreate using the "Dry Ink" brush at either 5 or 8% width, depending on the canvas size. For larger print purposes, like booth backdrops, we make a special exception and use a vector brush on Illustrator.
