Ordering & Payment

If we're not yet a vendor at your institution, please have your buyer or lab manager reach out to us at ar@plasmidsaurus.com. Our onboarding team is very efficient and we can get set up very quickly. Here is our W-9 form.

Please sign in and click the “Quote” button on the top menu bar.

You have several payment methods available:

  • Credit Card: Direct payment at the time of order.
  • Purchase order (PO): You can enter the PO number when you order.
  • Payment Link: Convenient for quick order submission with a credit card payment link sent directly to your purchasing officer.
  • Dinocoins: These are prepaid sequencing credits that you can purchase at any time for later use. They are added to your account and can be utilized by an individual or shared among a lab group. The balance of Dinocoins is always visible in your account. Buy 1,500+ Dinocoins to get 5% extra bonus Dinocoins.

The most convenient purchase options are Dinocoins and blanket POs (also known as standing POs). These allow you and your lab members to share the same PO or pool of Dinocoins without the need for a new quote or PO each time an order is placed.

  • Using a Purchase Order: We invoice monthly and send out invoices at the beginning of each month for transactions from the previous month. If you require a different invoicing schedule, please contact us at ar@plasmidsaurus.com.
  • Paying by Credit Card: You will receive a transaction receipt via email. Additionally, you can access and print both the invoice and the receipt from the "Order Information" page.
  • Paying via Payment Link: A receipt will be emailed to the address provided during the payment process. You can also access and print both invoices and receipts from the "Order Information" pages.

You can cancel your order before we have received your samples. To do so, please sign in, navigate to your Dashboard via the top menu bar, scroll down to the “Order History” section, and click the red “X” button to cancel an order.

We offer the following pricing incentives for bulk sequencing purchases:

•Orders of 96 or more samples through your Dashboard (for any service type) will automatically receive a 5% direct discount on the total price of that order.
• If you purchase >$1,500 in Dinocoins, we will credit an extra 5% free credit of Dinocoins to your account.

Dinocoins

Log in to your account, navigate to your Dashboard, scroll to the bottom of the service table, and select “Dinocoins.”


Select your method of payment for the purchase of Dinocoins:
   • Credit Card payment: Direct payment at the time of order. You will be directed to a secure portal. 
   • Credit Card link: You will receive a secure credit card payment link in your email. This link can be sent to other emails as well.
   • PO (Purchase Order) Number: You can enter a PO number when you order. If you are using a new PO that is not already in our system, please also email your PO documentation to our Finance Team at ar@plasmidsaurus.com.


Upon order submission, you will receive a 6-digit code that confirms your Dinocoin purchase.

You should immediately see your Dinocoin balance listed at the top of your Dashboard.

First make sure you have Dinocoin balance available in your account. Then, when submitting a sequencing order through your Dashboard, just select “Dinocoins” as your payment method.

You can find your Dinocoin balance by clicking on your name on the right side of the menu bar. Your balance can be viewed under Payment Methods - Dinocoins.

By default, dinocoins are added to the account balance of the user who submitted the payment. If you are associated with a lab account in our system, the dinocoins will be added to your lab account by default.

If you’d like to share the purchased dinocoins between members of your lab or group, please contact our Finance Team at ar@plasmidsaurus.com.

Yes, you can contact our Finance Team at ar@plasmidsaurus.com to get your Dinocoins transferred to another user (such as a labmate).

Orders can only use one payment method.

If you originally paid for your sequencing order with Dinocoins or with a credit card, you will receive Dinocoins refunded to your account balance.

If you originally paid for your sequencing order with PO, you will receive a refund to the balance of your PO (no Dinocoins are refunded).

Yes, Dinocoins expire five years after purchase.

No, Dinocoins are not refundable, and they cannot be exchanged for cash value. Any balance of Dinocoins that is not used before the 5-year expiration period will be forfeited. If you’re coming up on the expiration date but have no planned orders, you can contact our Finance Team at ar@plasmidsaurus.com to get your Dinocoins transferred to another user (such as a labmate).

Shipping

We've updated our website! Shipping instructions are now located at the bottom of every sample prep page for a service. These have been tailored to your specific service, making it easier for you to follow along!

Depending on where you're shipping to and from, you'll likely require some forms. Templates for each service and location are available in the sample prep instructions for each service.
